Welcome to our site. We maintain this web site as a service to support the implementation of our Corporate Design guidelines. By using our site, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review the following terms carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this site.

§1 Service offerings and availability

  1. The Frontend Kit operates as a support service for implementing our Corporate Design Policies. The Frontend Kit is a preview platform that shows components that are used at the Robert Bosch GmbH and its affiliated companies (subsequently “Bosch).
  2. We reserve the right to expand the services offered on our Frontend Kit or to limit the period in which the services may be used. As a user, you will have no right to retain any services or portions.
  3. The use of the Frontend Kit is free of charge.
  4. No right to uninterrupted use exists. No warranty is provided that the access or use of the Frontend Kit will not be interrupted or impaired by maintenance work, future developments or by any other disruptions, which could also lead to a loss of data. We strive to provide the most uninterrupted usability of the Frontend Kit services possible. However, intermittent restrictions or interruptions may occur due to technical disruptions (such as power outages, hardware and software errors or technical problems in the data lines).

§2 Use of the Frontend Kit

  1. The use of the Frontend Kit is reserved exclusively for entrepreneurs. For the purposes of these terms of use, an "entrepreneur" is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal personality who, at the time of conclusion of the contract, is acting in the exercise of his or her trade, business or profession (§ 14 para. 1 German Civil Code).
  2. If certain data must be provided when using the services provided on the Frontend Kit, then you must provide such data completely and correctly.

§3 Responsibility for credentials

  1. You must keep your credentials secret and you must not make this data accessible to unauthorized third parties under any circumstances.
  2. It is also your responsibility to ensure that your access to the Frontend Kit and the use of the services, which is made available on the Frontend Kit, is done solely by you or by the persons authorized by you. If it is feared that unauthorized third parties have learned or will learn your access data, then you must inform us without undue delay

§4 Scope of permitted use, rules of conduct, monitoring of use activities

  1. Your use authorization is restricted to access to the Frontend Kit, and to use of the services available on the Frontend Kit in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  2. You are personally responsible for establishing the necessary technical requirements for the contractual use of the services in your sphere of responsibility (particularly hardware, web browser and Internet access). We are not required to provide you with any advice in this respect.

§5 Usage right to the content available on the Frontend Kit

  1. The available content may be used solely in connection with an existing contractual relationship with Bosch.
  2. To the extent necessary in connection with the performance of the agreement as described in section 1, the provided content may be distributed within Bosch. The forwarding of the content to service providers/agencies, which work for Bosch, for the purposes of performing tasks under the contractual relationship specified in section 1, is also permitted.

§6 Prohibited activities

  1. You are prohibited from any and all activities on or in connection with the Frontend Kit which violate applicable law, infringe third party rights or breach the principles of protecting minors.
  2. Also prohibited are any acts which could interfere with the trouble-free operation of the Frontend Kit, particularly by unduly burdening our IT systems.
  3. Should you become aware of any illegal, non-contractual or improper use of the Frontend Kit or any other unauthorized use of the Frontend Kit, kindly contact us and report this unauthorized use. We will then review the activity and take reasonable action, if necessary.

§7 Data protection

  1. Bosch processes personal data in accordance with the data privacy notice

§8 Indemnification

  1. You are obligated to indemnify and release us from any and all costs, claims and detriment asserted by third parties against us due to any violation of law committed by you.
  2. In addition, you are obligated to compensate us for all costs incurred due to the violation of law, particularly the costs of a reasonable legal defense, including any court and attorney fees incurred. This shall not apply if and to the extent that the violation of law is not your fault.

§9 Limitation of liability

  1. In connection with the use of our services, our liability for breaches of duty caused by simple negligence is excluded, provided that such breaches do not relate to any losses resulting from death, bodily injury and impairment to health, or from warranties or claims enforced under product liability law. Furthermore, the liability for the violation of obligations, the fulfillment of which enables the proper implementation of the user relationship and on the compliance on which you may regularly rely, shall remain unaffected. The same shall apply to breaches of duty by our vicarious agents.
  2. To the extent that our liability is excluded or limited by these Terms and Conditions, such exclusion and limitation shall apply also to the liability of our governing bodies and vicarious agents and assistants, particularly our employees.
